One Skyrim modder going by Haytur on Nexus Mods has released a new skin for players and their companions, with credit to other modders like AthenaX who made the armor, and Ilikeawp who inspired this new skin and made the original asset. This is often the case as Skyrim’s modding community often works together, utilizing shared assets in order to bring their ideas into the game in the best way possible....
However, some mods don’t aim at adding strange and interesting mechanics into the game. Instead, they simply try to tweak the systems that are already in place to make Skyrim as good a game as it can be. Two new mods, entitled the Skyrim Compass Navigation Overhaul and Infinity UI, seek to do just that. Both of these mods are available on the Nexus and work in tandem with one another, seeking to overhaul the user interface, or UI, of Skyrim....
Fans interested in joining the Thieves Guild need to travel to the city of Riften and meet an NPC named Brynjolf. Posting to Reddit recently, user u/coyotemachete uploaded a screenshot from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim which, by itself, tells a tale of a bloody and violent end for one unknown individual. The image shows a giant boulder, underneath of which lies a crushed skeleton, with a lantern close to their head. Strewn about the scene is splatters of blood. The backdrop is hardly much of a mystery, clearly showing that some poor character met their demise underneath this giant rock some time ago....
Reddit user Haalchaz posted a clip of their Skyrim adventures in which they are being chased by a Frost Troll that’s taking minuscule damage from the player’s Destruction magic. Although these attacks only cause minor pain to the strong creature, most spells cast still cause a kill cam cutscene to play out. Keeping a safe distance from the Frost Troll, Haalchaz shoots Sparks repeatedly from both hands rather than opting to use magic in one hand and a weapon in another....
In a recent post on the Skyrim subReddit, user Eddiemoreno has uploaded a very brief clip of their playthrough. During the footage, they can be seen performing a shout in the direction of Nazeem, the Redguard who saunters around the city of Whiterun. While this doesn’t kill the much-hated character, it does cause them to fling backwards. In doing so, this inexplicably causes a nearby guard to wield their weapon and head straight for the NPC....
Gamers that prefer engaging with enemies from afar can spec into the Archery skill tree in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. In addition to increased damage and critical hit chance, it offers some useful perks like being able to move faster with a bow drawn or the ability to recover more arrows from dead bodies. Aside from their common genre of fantasy RPG, Dark Souls and Skyrim don’t really share much in common. The settings and styles of these games are completely different from one another, so it’s certainly an odd connection to make.
