Reddit user Sickliff recently posted a clip of their leisurely activity as they unload their inventory after fishing in Skyrim for what they claim was 12 hours. Because they spent so long fishing, the amount of fish they unload in their video causes some frame dips as the game tries to figure out what the player is doing. The clip shows what seems to be over a hundred fish being thrown back into the ocean as the player swims with the inanimate creatures that are normally seen swimming around when a Skyrim player takes a dip in rivers, lakes, and the ocean to the North....

A Reddit user has garnered nearly 1,000 upvotes on their post that shows their customized Skyrim character engaging in battle with Alvasorr the Rat and a Draugr Deathlord. The Draugr of Skyrim is a common enemy that may pose a bit of a challenge in the early game, but they are quickly outmatched once a player is able to accumulate levels, skill points, armor, and weapons. Contrary to the average Draugr, Draugr Deathlords can remain a bit of a challenge through much of the main story, and they often wield powerful shouts just like the Dragonborn as shown off by this upload....

The Adventures of Tintin is a French/Belgian adventure comic book that was published from 1929-1976 and written by Georges Prosper Remi under the pen name Herge. It primarily followed the story of the character Tintin as he embarked on adventures and hunts for treasure and lost artifacts. The game’s supporting characters include the cynical, alcoholic ship captain, Captain Haddock, Tintin’s faithful dog, Snowy, the bumbling police officers Thompson and Thompson, the hard-of-hearing Professor Calculus, and opera singer Bianca Castafiore....

As one person has shown recently, Skyrim’s city of Whiterun has a substantial unemployment rate, bigger than the US and UK combined. The state of the in-game economy is probably not something the average Dragonborn thinks about as they mill about their day, earning gold through missions or stealing. Over on Nexus Mods, a community hub for thousands of mods for games ranging from Skyrim to Cyberpunk 2077, modder arminZX12 has created a mod called Milandriel that adds an impressive chunk of Valenwood to the land of Skyrim. For the uninitiated, Valenwood is the province that Wood Elves, or Bosmer, traditionally call home. It’s typically portrayed as a beautiful, but dangerous, woodland, and arminZX12 has captured it well....

As spotted by PCGamesN, a user known as Zamio1 has created such a mod for Skyrim, which allows players to contribute research and write academic books. Called “Scholarship of Skyrim,” the Dragonborn can cease going on wild adventures for a bit and work with some of the game’s notable scholars, including Paarthurnax, to improve their overall research and writing skills. Doing so does apparently yield better fighting prowess, depending on what the player decides to study....

One mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim attempts to remedy this in a small way by bringing back a minor feature from The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind. The new Beastly Beastmen mod makes the animal-like races more distinct by having them walk on their toes instead of the soles of their feet. One of these new discoveries in Skyrim involves a Reddit user by the name of ‘HoHw169’ who posted their findings on the r/Skyrim subreddit. Apparently, if gamers can read all of the stone tablets climbing all the way up to High Hrothgar, they will unlock a secret effect. Draugr are one of the most common types of enemies found in the game’s many dungeons, catacombs, and ruins. They are skeleton-like creatures that wield different types of weapons depending upon their class or variant.
