Elder Scrolls fans are understandably excited for the upcoming installment in the series following Skyrim’s enormous success. However, they’ll have to wait longer as The Elder Scrolls 6 is still in the pre-production stage and will not release anytime soon. While there are a lot of people crying out for the next installment in the series, the decade-old release continues to inspire great works of art. Now, a fan on Reddit has shared an image where they are showing off a ring they’ve created inspired by Skyrim....

A Reddit user recently shared a video that they created to spotlight a Skyrim glitch that allowed them to travel across the frigid landscape on their horse in a way that Bethesda may not have intended. There are many ways for Skyrim players to experience glitches as they explore the open areas and closed-off dungeons, but only some of them are associated with the horse like the aforementioned one seemingly is....

According to the project’s description, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim mod in question is a motorcycle made of Dwarven materials, with gg77 having designed the vehicle to be “essential”, meaning that it cannot be destroyed no matter how much wear and tear players put it through. What’s more is that the mod lets one choose how it should sound, with players being able to pick between the standard Dwarven machinery noises, or an actual motorcycle engine....

Speaking of bosses, a Reddit user who goes by MuhBoi117 recently uploaded a brief clip of them playing Skyrim, which shows them taking on the mighty frost giant Karstaag. During the fight, it becomes quite clear that the player is highly skilled, and within moments, the boss is slain, much to the surprise of the user themselves. In fact, the clip itself only lasts about 30 seconds, but the fight itself is over in about six....

Mods have likely added to the longevity of Skyrim. Users can change all aspects of the game, from gameplay to content, and customize their playthrough in unique ways that seem impossible in other games. Even though Skyrim has an abundance of content and things to do, one fan claims to have fully completed the game after an astronomical number of hours. Now, Bethesda intends to let the good times roll for PC fans by confirming that Skyrim Special Edition will support all of the existing mods available on the platform. As it happens, one fan asked the studio’s Vice President of Marketing and PR, Pete Hines, whether or not the remastered version of the fantasy-RPG title would do so, to which the Bethesda exec confirmed on his official Twitter account....

Cornell University researchers have developed a skin-tight computer interface that’s easy to attach/detach and can be used for anything from health monitoring to fashion. It’s part of a growing interest in skin-based wearable computers. “Skin wearable computing is primarily useful for its ability to accurately capture human motion and physiological state, including health vitals, while allowing the wearer to remain mobile and perform daily tasks,” Carmel Majidi, director of the Soft Machines Lab at Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering, told Lifewire in an email interview....
