After three successful seasons of Rock N Roll Football on Absolute Radio, Sky Sports has decided to extend the partnership by 12 months. Absolute Radio holds the exclusive rights to broadcast 32 Premier League matches in its 3 pm Saturday slot.
The match commentary on the Rock N Roll Football show will now also be available on 105.8 FM in London, along with other platforms including Digital Radio, 1215 AM, online at absoluteradio.co.uk and Absolute Radio smartphone apps.
Rock N Roll Football is produced by USP Content, a company which also manages the Formula One coverage of BBC Radio 5 Live, among other sports, reports FC Business.
Talking about the partnership with Absolute Radio, owner and chief executive of USP Content Rob Jones said: “We’ve worked with the Absolute Radio team for three years and once again we’re delighted to be part of the most exciting and entertaining football show on commercial radio.”
Tony Moorey, Content Director at Absolute Radio said that the partnership will help in establishing the Rock N Roll Football brand further.
