Meanwhile, most of the Skyrim community shows appreciation by spending hundreds of hours on the game. Naturally, they often stumble upon some unusual occurrences in the game, as one Reddit user found out. Redditor MoaBurger uploaded a short clip on the social media platform that shows them having a conversation with an NPC in the first person mode. The NPC is revealed as a student in the College of Winterhold who is seeking help from the Dragonborn. The subsequent dialogues suggest the student was looking for the player’s help regarding wards and requested them to teach him. The user obliges and begins the lesson but has to stop abruptly due to an unexpected reason.

A few moments after the player and the student begin practicing wards, two guards approach out of nowhere and start attacking the student. Ultimately, the student is fatally injured by this assault. MoaBurger was astonished by this gruesome act, which can be seen through the post’s title, “That’s what you get for wanting to improve yourself.” The Skyrim community on Reddit was understandably amazed and positively received the post, as shown by hundreds of positive votes with a 100% upvote ratio. At the same time, other Redditors were curious about how to find the student who asked for the player’s help. The original poster clarified that gamers must have a restoration skill above 50 to come across this particular student.

This is not the first time Skyrim fans have come across atypical occurrences in the game. Players have reported seeing things like the Dragonborn flying across the map on a horse to using elaborate schemes to make Roggvir kill Vittoria Vici. As fans continue to spend more hours on the game, many more such unusual happenings could be seen in the future.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS3, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
