A Reddit user has garnered nearly 1,000 upvotes on their post that shows their customized Skyrim character engaging in battle with Alvasorr the Rat and a Draugr Deathlord. The Draugr of Skyrim is a common enemy that may pose a bit of a challenge in the early game, but they are quickly outmatched once a player is able to accumulate levels, skill points, armor, and weapons. Contrary to the average Draugr, Draugr Deathlords can remain a bit of a challenge through much of the main story, and they often wield powerful shouts just like the Dragonborn as shown off by this upload.

Reddit user Ayenenemalo recently shared a short clip of their adventures through Skyrim in which they are climbing some stairs to a tower during a side quest that isn’t being tracked according to the in-game compass. With stealth already enabled and the player having the ability to move faster while crouching, the player quickly reached a named Skyrim NPC which they quickly assassinate with a quick stealth-boosted instant kill. Unable to fill a soul gem with their impressive dagger onslaught, the Skyrim player turns to face the other opponent which is already charging up a powerful attack that defeats the Dragonborn in a dramatic fashion.
Just as Ayenenemalo is about to strike at the Draugr Deathlord with their blade, it unleashes a powerful shout that’s roughly equivalent to the base Unrelenting Force that players unlock after defeating their first dragon in Skyrim outside Whiterun. Unable to land on the nearby ledge, Ayenenemalo’s Dragonborn is sent flying down the mountain with the infamous ragdoll physics that have made many Skyrim videos go viral due to the unpredictability. The Dragonborn soars several meters downward before slamming into two protruding boulders that finish that Skyrim player off, with a caption to the clip asking if it’s really how their “Dragonborn journey ends.”
Because players quickly unlock the Unrelenting Force Skyrim shout, it’s possible that Ayenenemalo could have knocked the enemy Draugr Deathlord back before the undead got its attack off. Given that the player was defeated so shortly after killing Alvasorr the Rat, the Dragonborn likely had to repeat the same attack after loading a previous save file to accomplish the objective that they set out for.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
