A Reddit user has shared several images of their Far Cry 5 Arcade creation that shows off what looks like a new iteration of Skyrim’s Riften. Being home to Skyrim’s Thieves Guild, Riften is one of the cities in the Bethesda RPG that many players flock to in the early moments of the game, coveting the ultimate reward of the skeleton key. Though Far Cry 5’s open world of Hope County doesn’t provide players with similar guilds, this Far Cry 5 fan continues to celebrate the home of the Thieves Guild using Arcade mode’s tools.

Reddit user Mojoswoptops2020 has garnered over 7,000 upvotes on their Far Cry 5 post that shows their replica of Riften made in Arcade mode. The Far Cry 5 Arcade mode screenshots show the entrance to the city and the buildings along both sides of it, the waterway that goes through the city and is connected to the Thieves Guild Ratway, and the central vendor area next to The Bee and Barb. Like with other cities, Riften is home to a powerful Skyrim leader known as a jarl, and this city’s ruler resides in Mistveil Keep, which is portrayed in the background of one image alongside Riftweald Manor.
Because of how large Skyrim’s city of Riften is, Mojoswoptops2020’s Far Cry 5 Arcade iteration is without the Thieves Guild or Ratway alongside it, which may still be crafted in a different save. The appropriate side of the city has snowcapped mountains looming in the background behind the settlement, which points to Mojoswoptops2020’s attention to detail with the Far Cry 5 Arcade editor. While the Far Cry 5 Skyrim city is similar to others like it made in Arcade mode in effectively encapsulating the settlement, the lack of NPCs cluttering it helps the creation stand out from the original.
Mojoswoptops2020’s Riften isn’t the first Skyrim location created in Far Cry 5 Arcade mode, with Riverwood, the western watchtower, and Breezehome, among other impressive levels shared by fans. Given how many areas of Skyrim still haven’t been interpreted through Far Cry 5 Arcade and its tools, there are still several locations like Helgen, Rorikstead, Solitude, Windhelm, and High Hrothgar that may still be looked at through the Ubisoft lens by Mojoswoptops2020 or players like them.
