Perhaps one of the more intriguing Creations, especially for fans of Morrowind or the Dunmer in general, is the “Ghosts of the Tribunal” – revolving around the legacy of the Tribunal Temple in the wake of its collapse following the Red Year. The Creation features a storyline set on Solstheim and allows players a chance to claim iconic artifacts and outfits from Morrowind, such as the Ordinator armor or even Almalexia’s famous blade – Hopesfire.

For new players who may not be familiar with the Dunmer lore introduced in Morrowind or even old players in want of a compelling retelling of the Tribunal’s story (with a focus on Almalexia), K1ngCraft has posted a documentary-style video on YouTube that covers the topic with some truly impressive production quality. The video is meant to not only illustrate the rise and fall of the Tribunal Temple but it is made with “Ghosts of the Tribunal” content in mind – and as such contains spoilers for the DLC.

The lore documentary – narrated by K1ngCraft and accompanied by voice actors portraying the characters from “Ghosts of the Tribunal” – is a delight in visual storytelling. The slow-moving shots, carefully animated and using in-game assets from Skyrim, give the video a quality akin to a painting that’s come to life. From the creation of Kagrenac’s tools to the clash at Red Mountain between the houses of Resdayn united against the Dwemer, the video faithfully covers one of the more intriguing chapters in Tamriel’s history.

Whereas the first part deals with the tale of the Tribunal, ending with the dissolution of the Tribunal Temple and the reemergence of the Good Daedra in the Dunmeri Pantheon, the second part segues into “Ghosts of the Tribunal” content, introducing its characters and their agenda as they work towards restoring the worship of Almsivi.

Unfortunately, like the other mods in the Creation Club, “Ghosts of the Tribunal” remains officially unvoiced – conveying most of its story through notes supplemented by clever use of generic or repurposed lines. That being said, given the talent and industrious nature of Skyrim’s modding community, it might be only a matter of time until a voiced version of the mod comes along.
