Slave monument: A movement is growing to erect a memorial on the Mall in Washington, similar to the Holocaust museum.
Amistad: The Mystic (Conn.) Seaport Museum is building a replica of the slaver that will sail into New York Harbor on July 4, 2000. An actual slave galley, the Henrietta Marie, has been restored and is on traveling exhibit.
